Launched in 1971 the new explorer features an extra 24 hours hand and engraved bezel to help reading the time in environments where one can’t distinguish day and night, like the poles or caves.

This model is completely made in Oystersteel, a highly resistant steel alloy developed by Rolex, and is equipped with a self-winding calibre 3285 designed in-house and that can withstand the most extreme weather conditions.
