Our Warranty Policy

Watches

When you buy a watch from Global Boutique, you do so in the knowledge that if there’s a problem, you’re backed up by a comprehensive warranty. We know how important this is – you are, after all, making a substantial investment.

Unworn Watches – These all come with a manufacturer warranty. Depending on the brand, this is normally between one to three years.

Pre-owned Watches – If you buy a watch from us that’s – for example – six months old, the remainder of the manufacturer warranty is passed on to you. If it came with a two-year warranty, that means it’s covered for another 18 months. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

Global Boutique Warranty – If the manufacturer’s warranty has expired on the pre-owned watch you are buying from us, we’ll provide you with a Global Boutique 12 month warranty.

Please note that our warranty covers manufacturing and mechanical defects only. Our warranty is subject to the same terms and conditions as the manufacturer’s warranty. The standard manufacturer warranty does not cover theft or loss of the watch.

Normal wear-and-tear or damage caused to the watch by accidents or mishandling/mistreatment are also excluded, as well as damage caused to a watch due to submersion in water which is against the manufacturer’s guidance. In particular, the wear of the watch strap is not covered by the warranty.

Any modification of a watch by the addition or substitution of components by aftermarket products that have not been provided by the manufacturer will also invalidate the warranty. The use of aftermarket components can severely compromise the technical performance, reliability, and waterproofness of the watch.

How Does The Warranty Work?

If you have any remaining manufacturer’s warranty, then you can send your watch to them for repair either via us or via an authorised retailer.

If your watch is covered by a Global Boutique Warranty but not the manufacturer’s warranty, then we will undertake the repairs in conjunction with the manufacturer where necessary. Return of the watch to Global Boutique premises is at the owner’s risk, Global Boutique will not be liable for any item that is sent via any third-party courier.

Any warranty given is at Global Boutique Ltd discretion after the 14 day return period.
