The Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Michael Schumacher is the result of an exceptional collaboration between Audemars Piguet and one of motor racing’s greatest champions. A long-time admirer of the Offshore, Schumacher worked closely with the manufacture, gaining first-hand insight into the complexities of creating a watch that is distinctive, robust, functional and effortlessly comfortable.

Engineered to the standards of a seven-time World Champion, the 44 mm timepiece is offered in 1,000 titanium, 500 pink gold and 100 platinum editions. Every detail draws inspiration from the world of high-performance racing: the anthracite “Mega Tapisserie” dial features two blue and five red stars marking his championship victories, while the black-and-white minute track recalls a chequered flag. Galvanic counters, framed like dashboard instruments, differ by material—black for titanium and pink gold, blue for platinum.

Newly designed facetted gold hands, inspired by a monocoque chassis, complement red-lacquered chronograph hands with blackened tips and a rare red date display. The signature Offshore architecture is enhanced with a Cermet bezel, seven times harder than steel, secured by domed, automotive-style screws. Each colour-matched rubber strap—grey for titanium and pink gold, blue for platinum—is fastened with racing-inspired titanium studs.
