This reinterpretation is a 2021 unworn Cartier Santos Skeleton WHSA0015. The 39.8mm stainless steel case has a sapphire crystal glass and case back allowing the wearer of the watch to see the manual winding movement from both the front and back sides of the watch. Another interesting feature of this watch is the bridges supporting the movement are uniquely manufactured to act as a bridge but also show roman numerals. Cartier Santos Skeleton Steel WHSA0015 – GB10195M
Here we have the Santos de Cartier in Stainless Steel, this version is the incredibly popular skeleton version allowing you to see the mechanics of the watch whilst you wear it. In 1904 Louis Cartier commissioned this model for famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos to tell the time whilst flying. That creation with the round angles, seamless curves and exposed screws lead to the iconic Santos model that has countless reinterpretations.
