F.P.Journe Élégante Titanium Diamond Bezel – GB50098
The heart of the watch is the Calibre 1210, an electromechanical movement eight years in development. It features a visible motion sensor at 4:30; if the watch remains stationary for 35 minutes, it enters a “hibernation” mode to conserve energy, while a microprocessor continues to track the time. Once moved, the hands automatically take the shortest path—clockwise or counter-clockwise—to reset to the exact current second. This intelligence grants the watch an extraordinary battery life of 8 to 10 years in daily use, or up to 18 years in standby mode.
Completed with a white luminescent sapphire dial and a signature rubber strap, this timepiece offers an unmatched blend of horological intelligence and Mayfair elegance.
